J. R. Adams and Associates was established in 1970 by Jerry Adams. He founded the company on the same principles and values that are in place today. With almost 40 years of proven results and professional experience, a large number of clients from the 70’s are still active clients today.
We have a select client list, and those clients rely on our expertise to be responsible for their searches. We never have and never will have direct competing clients, and we never under any circumstances recruit from our clients. We treat our clients and their candidates with complete confidentiality, and we do not partner with other search firms.
Service - we are a trusted partner of the client. Our clients are not one of many in any industry or segment that are contacted by several associates that come and go and never have a real grasp on the company culture.
Upon being assigned a project, we obtain a thorough understanding of the position and its responsibilities within the department/division and the personnel associated with the position. We obtain an understanding of the key elements needed for the new employee to be successful in his/her new role.
Once a complete understanding is achieved, we source potential candidates that are a match for the company and position. Those candidates are interviewed and processed per the client's direction.
Research, Research, Research. Most candidates are gainfully employed and not in the job market. We maintain a vast database of candidates from 1970 and continue to update it everyday.
It is the process of gathering potential matches for a job and providing that list of candidates directly to our client, instead of our in-house recruiting staff. This allows the client to work off of a qualified list of potential candidates to interview.
Our clients must be able to look at us and say, “I would want that JRAA employee to work within our organization." We treat our contractual relationship as if we were employed by the client. This dynamic allows us to keep the company’s best interest in mind as we present strategic recruiting solutions to our clients.
